These reports are completed to meet federal reporting requirements. This includes a complete threshold determination of chemicals within the facility, which is the most critical part of this reporting responsibility, along with engineering calculations for release estimates. Proper documentation is provided in the event of an agency inspection, and we are available to support you during the inspection process.
Environmental Permit Applications
These are written in conformance with applicable regulations. The types of permits we specialize in include air pollution construction and operating permits, stormwater, hazardous waste, and waste water permits. Site engineering and design is provided as a turnkey service, or as a portion of a larger project.
Environmental Clean-Up, Closure Plans and Risk Assessments
Prepared for contaminated sites and facilities that wish to close their hazardous waste or superfund site. Our experience in site investigation and remediation and in the disposal of the contaminated media, ensures proper federal and state requirements and documentation procedures are followed, and your costs are kept to a minimum. When necessary, site-specific clean-up standards are developed using government health databases, EPA and state guidance, and other technical or risk-related information.
Process Safety Management and EPA’s Risk Management Programs
Designed for the chemical industry in compliance with the OSHA regulations in 29 CFR 1910.119 and Section 112(r) of the 1990 Clean Air Act. This includes information gathering, hazard analysis, operating procedure development, technical analysis, and employee training. Any specific aspect of compliance or complete programs are available to meet your specific needs and ensure a safe working environment.
Integrated Contingency Plans for Spills and Emergency Response
Designed in accordance with the guidelines developed by the National Response Team. It includes a single emergency response plan that will meet all of the requirements of EPA, OSHA, DOT, and other federal and state requirements. It covers spill response procedures, emergency response (to fires, explosions, natural events, chemicals, bomb threats), hazardous chemical response, and evacuation routes for all of these. Notification procedures are outlined at the local and state level depending upon the emergency. This integrated plan replaces the confusion of having a separate plan for each federal or state law or regulation with emergency response requirements. Plan development is part of a joint effort between management, consultant, and employees, with training on the details of the plan when completed.
Environmental Sampling and Analysis Programs
Include outlining the goals and objectives of the sampling program, along with program design and implementation. All environmental sampling programs are designed and implemented to meet agency standards. Groundwater remediation and sampling and analysis may be conducted upon request. Sampling and Analysis Plans are developed, and detailed sampling procedures are documented.
Wastewater and Stormwater Compliance and Discharge Monitoring Reports
Includes baseline monitoring reports, sampling and analysis, and source review, analysis of treatment technologies or process operations for specific pollutants and reduction options.
Spill Prevention, Control, & Countermeasure Plans
Written in conformance with the new oil spill regulations to be implemented by November 10, 2010. There are new integrity testing and environmental equivalency requirements which impact many of our current clientele and self-certification procedures for facilities under 10,000 gallons of above ground petroleum storage. Every facility that stores petroleum products above the 1,320 gallon threshold falls under EPA’s SPCC rule.
